AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Twenty-six
Thousand Dollars ($426,000.00) from the Coldwater Creek Sewer
Extension and Improvement Account to be used for project costs for
the construction of sanitary sewers in Chaucer-Holtwood (S-2218,
C-1246), in the City of Overland, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is Three Hundred Ninety-seven Thousand Two Hundred Seventy
and 50/100 Dollars ($397,270.50), and the cost of inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs and allowance for
construction change orders is Twenty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred
Twenty-nine and 50/100 Dollars ($28,729.50), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Twenty-six
Thousand Dollars ($426,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Coldwater Creek Sewer Extension and Improvement Account to be used
for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in
Chaucer-Holtwood (S-2218, C-1246), in the City of Overland,
Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 27, 1986.
