AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-three Thousand Nine
Hundred Ten Dollars ($33,910.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres to be used for project costs for the construction
of a gabion wall in Carter Court No. 15 (85111), in the City of
Olivette, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said gabion
wall is Thirty-one Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-seven and 90/100
Dollars ($31,747.90), and the costs of inspection, construction
staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for
construction change orders is Two Thousand One Hundred Sixty-two
and 10/100 Dollars ($2,162.10), and
WHEREAS, the property owners to be served by said
project have agreed to contribute Six Thousand Six Hundred Ten
Dollars ($6,610.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon
the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River des Peres,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-three Thousand Nine
Hundred Ten Dollars ($33,910.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the
University City Branch of River des Peres to be used for project
costs for the construction of a gabion wall in Carter Court No. 15
(85111), in the City of Olivette, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 27, 1986.
