AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-six Thousand Six
Hundred Ten Dollars ($46,610.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of gabion walls at McKnight
Lane No. 7, No. 8 and No. 9 (S-2235, C-1253), in the City of
Ladue, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said gabion
walls is Thirty-seven Thousand Six Hundred Forty-five and 50/100
Dollars ($37,645.50), and the costs of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and
allowance for construction change orders is Eight Thousand Nine
Hundred Sixty-four and 50/100 Dollars ($8,964.50), and
WHEREAS, the property owners to be served by said
project have agreed to contribute Six Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-
two and 75/100 Dollars ($6,452.75) toward the total costs of said
project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said
money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-six Thousand Six
Hundred Ten Dollars ($46,610.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of gabion
walls at McKnight Lane No. 7, No. 8 and No. 9 (S-2235, C-1253), in
the City of Ladue, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 27, 1986.
