AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixteen Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($16,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Black Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Pointer Lane
No. 91 (85063) in the City of Ladue, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Twelve Thousand Four Hundred Eighty Dollars
($12,480.00), and the costs of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and
allowance for construction change orders is Four Thousand Twenty
Dollars ($4,020.00), and
WHEREAS, the property owners to be served by said
project have agreed to contribute Three Thousand Four Hundred
Fifteen Dollars ($3,415.00) toward the total costs of said
project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said
money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Black Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixteen Thousand Five Hundred
Dollars ($16,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Black Creek to be
used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Pointer Lane No. 91 (85063), in the City of Ladue, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 27, 1986.
