AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty-one Thousand One
Hundred Dollars ($81,100.00) from the Mississippi River Operating
Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Yorktown Drive 9400 Block (85219), in the City of
Bellefontaine Neighbors, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Sixty-nine Thousand Forty-six and 70/100 Dollars
($69,046.70), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and
allowance for construction change orders is Twelve Thousand Fifty-
three and 30/100 Dollars ($12,053.30), and
WHEREAS, the City of Bellefontaine Neighbors, Missouri,
pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has
agreed to contribute Forty-Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars
($40,550.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Mississippi River Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty-one Thousand One
Hundred Dollars ($81,100.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Yorktown Drive 9400 Block
(85219), in the City of Bellefontaine Neighbors, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 1, 1986.
