Home My Public Portal About06788 O R D I N A N C E NO. 6788 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eleven Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($11,700.00) from the Operating, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Sugar Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Bryan Lane No. 512 (S-1936, C-1256), in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-five Dollars ($9,735.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for construction change orders is One Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-five Dollars ($1,965.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Three Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($3,900.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operating, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Sugar Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Kirkwood, Missouri, has agreed to contribute Three Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($3,900.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operating, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Sugar Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Eleven Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($11,700.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operating, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Sugar Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Bryan Lane No. 512 (S-1936, C-1256), in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri. Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 22, 1986.
