AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighteen Thousand Eight
Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($18,825.00) from the General Fund of
the District to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in High Valley Drive (85171), in St. Louis County,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Fifteen Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-three and 50/100
Dollars ($15,963.50), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and
allowance for construction change orders is Two Thousand Eight
Hundred Sixty-one and 50/100 Dollars ($2,861.50), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Six Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($6,275.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the General Fund
of the District, and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($12,550.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the General
Fund of the District, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighteen Thousand Eight
Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($18,825.00) is hereby appropriated
from the General Fund of the District to be used for project costs
for the construction of storm sewers in High Valley Drive (85171),
in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 22, 1986.
