AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-three Thousand Fifty
Dollars ($43,050.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in 202 Prospect
Storm Sewer Relief (S-2067, C-1257), in the City of Kirkwood,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Thirty-nine Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-nine Dollars
($39,499.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for
construction change orders is Three Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-
one Dollars ($3,551.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Fourteen Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($14,350.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Kirkwood, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Fourteen Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Dollars
($14,350.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-three Thousand Fifty
Dollars ($43,050.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to
be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
202 Prospect Storm Sewer Relief (S-2067, C-1257), in the City of
Kirkwood, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 22, 1986.
