AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighteen Thousand Four
Hundred Dollars ($18,400.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project
costs for the construction of storm sewers in Manchester & North
Harrison (85005), in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Fifteen Thousand Three Hundred Fifteen Dollars
($15,315.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and
allowance for construction change orders is Three Thousand Eighty-
five Dollars ($3,085.00), and
WHEREAS, the City of Kirkwood, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Nine Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($9,200.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighteen Thousand Four
Hundred Dollars ($18,400.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Manchester & North Harrison (85005), in the City of
Kirkwood, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 22, 1986.
