AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-nine Thousand Seven
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($29,750.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of a gabion wall at Meath Drive
No. 10612 (85092), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said gabion
wall is Twenty-seven Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-six Dollars
($27,746.00), and the costs of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for
construction change orders is Two Thousand Four Dollars
($2,004.00), and
WHEREAS, the property owner to be served by said
project has agreed to contribute Three Thousand Eight Hundred
Thirty-five Dollars ($3,835.00) toward the total costs of said
project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said
money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-nine Thousand Seven
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($29,750.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
a gabion wall at Meath Drive No. 10612 (85092), in St. Louis
County, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 22, 1986.
