AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventeen Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($17,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres to be used for project costs for the construction
of sanitary sewers in Maintenance Repairs No. 68 (86110), in the
City of Overland, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is Sixteen Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-nine Dollars
($16,279.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and
allowance for construction change orders is One Thousand Two
Hundred Twenty-one Dollars ($1,221.00).
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventeen Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($17,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the
University City Branch of River des Peres to be used for project
costs for the construction. of sanitary sewers in Maintenance
Repairs No. 68 (86110), in the City of Overland, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 22, 1986.
