AN ORDINANCE, awarding contracts to the Transamerica
Insurance Company (Home Agency Inc., Agent) for the District's
Employee Faithful Performance Blanket Bond coverage of Five
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) for the period of October
1, 1986 to October 1, 1989, and for the Faithful Performance Bond
coverage of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) for the Secretary-
Treasurer for the period of October 1, 1986 to October 1, 1989,
with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Transamerica Insurance Company, who
submitted a quote for the District's Employee Faithful Performance
Blanket Bond, at and for a three year prepaid premium of Nine
Thousand One Hundred Sixty-nine Dollars ($9,169.00), and for the
Faithful Performance Bond for the Secretary-Treasurer, at and for
a three year prepaid premium of Three Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-
five Dollars ($3,945.00), for such three year policy period of
October 1, 1986 to October 1, 1989, is hereby awarded the
contracts for such Faithful Performance Bonds.
Section Two. This Ordinance is for the award of
contracts for Faithful Performance Bonds for the District's
employees in general, and for the Secretary-Treasurer, and is
necessary for the protection of the public welfare, thus
constituting an emergency within the meaning of the Plan.
Therefore, this Ordinance shall be and become effective upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 22, 1986.
