AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eleven Thousand Four
Hundred Dollars ($11,400.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project
costs for the construction of storm sewers in Sandalwood Court (S-
2204, C-1260), in the City of Des Peres, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Nine Thousand Four Hundred Forty-three Dollars
($9,443.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction
staking, advertisement costs and allowance for construction change
orders is One Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-seven Dollars
($1,957.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Three Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($3,800.00) toward the total
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Des Peres, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Three Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($3,800.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eleven Thousand Four Hundred
Dollars ($11,400.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be
used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Sandalwood Court (S-2204, C-1260), in the City of Des Peres,
Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 5, 1986.
