AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Thousand Eight Hundred
Twenty-five Dollars ($6,825.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Kinstern
#1084 (S-2190, C-1261), in the City of Des Peres, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Five Thousand Six Hundred Forty-one Dollars ($5,641.00),
and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs and allowance for construction change orders
is One Thousand One Hundred Eighty-four Dollars ($1,184.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Two Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($2,275.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Des Peres, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Two Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-five Dollars
($2,275.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Thousand Eight Hundred
Twenty-five Dollars ($6,825.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Kinstern #1084 (S-2190, C-1261), in the City of Des
Peres, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 5, 1986.
