AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty-three Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars ($53,700.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Huntington No. 2237 (S-2421, C-1263), in the
City of Overland, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Forty-nine Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-five Dollars
($49,945.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for
construction change orders is Three Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-
five Dollars ($3,755.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Seventeen Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($17,900.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University
City Branch of River des Peres, and
WHEREAS, the City of Overland, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Seventeen Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($17,900.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the
University City Branch of River des Peres, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty-three Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars ($53,700.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the
University City Branch of River des Peres to be used for project
costs for the construction of storm sewers in Huntington No. 2237
(S-2421, C-1263), in the City of Overland, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 5, 1986.
