AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-five Thousand Seven
Hundred Sixty Dollars ($25,760.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Upper Paddock Creek to be
used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Sandalwood No. 12520 (S-2370, C-1264), in St. Louis County,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Twenty-one Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-eight Dollars
($21,588.00), and the costs of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs and allowance for
construction change orders is Four Thousand One Hundred Seventy-
two Dollars ($4,172.00), and
WHEREAS, the property owner to be served by said
project has agreed to contribute Three Thousand Seven Hundred
Dollars ($3,700.00) toward the total costs of said project, upon
the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Upper Paddock Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-five Thousand Seven
Hundred Sixty Dollars ($25,760.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Upper
Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in Sandalwood No. 12520 (S-2370, C-1264), in St.
Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 5, 1986.
