AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty-nine Thousand One
Hundred Dollars ($89,100.00) from the General Fund of the District
to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers
in Parkwatch Drive No. 10 Phase I (85147), in St. Louis County,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Seventy-six Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-five Dollars
($76,735.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and
allowance for construction change orders is Twelve Thousand Three
Hundred Sixty-five Dollars ($12,365.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Twenty-nine Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($29,700.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the General Fund of
the District, and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Fifty-nine Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($59,400.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the General
Fund of the District, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty-nine Thousand One
Hundred Dollars ($89,100.00) is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the District to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Parkwatch Drive No. 10 Phase I
(85147), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 5, 1986.
