AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty Thousand Two Hundred
Dollars ($40,200.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Holmes and
Madison Avenue Storm Sewer (86076), in the City of Oakland,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Thirty-six Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-eight Dollars
($36,638.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for
construction change orders is Three Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-
two Dollars ($3,562.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($13,400.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Oakland, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($13,400.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty Thousand Two Hundred
Dollars ($40,200.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to
be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Holmes and Madison Avenue Storm Sewer (86076), in the City of
Oakland, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 5, 1986.
