AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Ten Thousand
Seven Hundred Dollars ($110,700.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be
used for project costs for the construction of channel
improvements in Sherwyn Lane Culvert Replacement (87017), in the
City of Creve Coeur, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said channel
improvements is One Hundred Four Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-three
and 50/100 Dollars ($104,233.50), and the cost of inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and
allowance for construction change orders is Six Thousand Four
Hundred Sixty-six and 50/100 Dollars ($6,466.50), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Thirty-six Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($36,900.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, has agreed
to contribute Thirty-six Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars
($36,900.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ten Thousand
Seven Hundred Dollars ($110,700.00) is hereby appropriated from
the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
channel improvements in Sherwyn Lane Culvert Replacement (87017),
in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 5, 1986.
