Home My Public Portal About06860 O R D I N A N C E NO. 6860 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) from the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement Account of which Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) is to be used to pay the District's ten percent (10%) share; a grant of One Hundred Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($112,500.00) is anticipated from the Environmental Protection Agency, and a grant of Twenty Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($22,500.00) is anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for Contracts E-396, Amendment 3 (Engineering Services during construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station, Force Main and Interceptor Trunk Sewer), C-972 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main), C-973 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station), C-991 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main Discharge Structure), C-974 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "A"), C-975 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "B"), C-976 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "C"), C-977 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "D") and C-978 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "E"), Federal Project C-291148-06. WHEREAS, the District anticipates a seventy-five percent (75%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost of said project, and WHEREAS, a fifteen percent (15%) grant is anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of said project, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement Account to pay ten percent (10%) of the cost for Contracts E-396, Amendment 3 (Engineering Services during construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station, Force Main and Interceptor Trunk Sewer), C-972 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main), C-973 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station), C-991 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main Discharge Structure), C-974 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "A"), C-975 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "B"), C-976 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "C"), C-977 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "D") and C-978 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "E"), Federal Project C-291148-06. Section Two. The anticipated grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States amounts to One Hundred Twelve Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($112,500.00), which will be deposited in the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement 3 Account, and is to pay seventy-five percent (75%) of the cost for Contracts E-396, Amendment 3 (Engineering Services during construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station, Force Main and Interceptor Trunk Sewer) C-972 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main), C-973 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station), C-991 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main Discharge Structure), C-974 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "A"), C-975 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "B"), C-976 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "C"), C-977 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "D") and C-978 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "E"), Federal Project C-291148-06; and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said project. Section Three. The anticipated grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources amounts to Twenty-two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($22,500.00), which will be deposited in the Fee Fee Extension and Improvement Account, and is to pay fifteen percent (15%) of the cost for Contracts E-396, Amendment 3 (Engineering Services during construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station, Force Main and Interceptor Trunk Sewer), C-972 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main), C-973 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Pump Station), C-991 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Force Main Discharge 4 Structure), C-974 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "A"), C-975 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "B"), C-976 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "C"), C-977 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "D") and C-978 (Construction of Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Interceptor - Reach "E"), Federal Project C-291148-06; and said amount is hereby appropriated to be used to make said payments when due and payable under the terms of the contracts for said project. Section Four. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 5 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 19, 1986.
