AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-nine Thousand Six
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($49,650.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Avenue "C" -
Bella Villa (86099), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Forty-five Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-seven Dollars
($45,847.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs and allowance for construction change orders
is Three Thousand Eight Hundred Three Dollars ($3,803.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Sixteen Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($16,550.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek,
and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Sixteen Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars
($16,550.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-nine Thousand Six
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($49,650.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in Avenue "C" - Bella Villa (86099), in St. Louis
County, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 5, 1986.
