AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Thousand Nine Hundred
Ninety-four and 98/100 Dollars ($6,994.98) from the General Fund
of the District to reimburse the City of St. Ann, Missouri for
funds expended by said City for the Lansing Avenue stormwater
project.
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent money
received by the District pursuant to the State of Missouri
Stormwater Program, and
WHEREAS, after reimbursement, the City of St. Ann,
Missouri's share of the project cost will be Thirteen Thousand
Nine Hundred Eighty-nine and 96/100 Dollars ($13,989.96), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri provided Six Thousand
Nine Hundred Ninety-four and 98/100 Dollars ($6,994.98) toward the
project cost, and
WHEREAS, since the project is located in the annexed
area of the District, the District will not provide any funds
toward the cost of said stormwater project, and
WHEREAS, the total project cost for the Lansing Avenue
stormwater project is Twenty Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-four and
94/100 Dollars ($20,984.94),
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Thousand Nine Hundred
Ninety-four and 98/100 Dollars ($6,994.98) is hereby appropriated
from the General Fund of the District to reimburse the City of St.
Ann, Missouri for funds expended by said city for the Lansing
Avenue stormwater project.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 28, 1987.
