HomeMy Public PortalAbout06899 O R D I N A N C E NO. 6899 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty-two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($52,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Holly No. 112 (S-2413, C-1268), in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Forty-seven Thousand One Hundred Sixty-seven Dollars ($47,167.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs and allowance for construction change orders is Five Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-three Dollars ($5,333.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($17,500.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Webster Groves, Missouri, has agreed to contribute Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($17,500.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Fifty-two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($52,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Holly No. 112 (S-2413, C-1268), in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri. Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 28, 1987.
