AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventy-six Thousand Twenty
Dollars ($76,020.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project
costs for the construction of a gabion wall at Upper Barnes No. 9
& 10 (85038), in the City of Ladue, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said gabion
wall is Seventy-one Thousand Nineteen Dollars ($71,019.00), and
the costs of inspection, construction staking, advertisement
costs, easement charges and allowance for construction change
orders is Five Thousand One Dollars ($5,001.00), and
WHEREAS, the property owners to be served by said
project have agreed to contribute Seven Thousand Twenty Dollars
($7,020.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the
receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventy-six Thousand Twenty
Dollars ($76,020.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be
used for project costs for the construction of a gabion wall at
Upper Barnes No. 9 & 10 (85038), in the City of Ladue, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 28, 1987.
