AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Fifty-nine
Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($159,600.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to
be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Majesty Court 600 Block (85062), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is One Hundred Thirty-eight Thousand Six Hundred and 95/100
Dollars ($138,600.95), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs and allowance for
construction change orders is Twenty Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-
nine and 05/100 Dollars ($20,999.05), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Fifty-three Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($53,200.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek,
and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Fifty-three Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($53,200.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty-nine
Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($159,600.00) is hereby appropriated
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Majesty Court 600 Block (85062), in St. Louis
County, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 28, 1987.
