AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nine Thousand Dollars
($9,000.00) from the General Fund of the District to reimburse the
City of Creve Coeur, Missouri for funds expended by said City for
the Williamsburg Drive #13 stormwater project.
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent money
received by the District pursuant to the State of Missouri
Stormwater Program, and
WHEREAS, after reimbursement, the City of Creve Coeur,
Missouri's share of the project cost will be Thirty-two Thousand
Nine Hundred Eighty-six Dollars ($32,986.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri provided Nine Thousand
Dollars ($9,000.00) toward the project cost, and
WHEREAS, since the project is located in the annexed
area of the District, the District will not provide any funds
toward the cost of said stormwater project, and
WHEREAS, the total project cost for the Williamsburg
Drive #13 stormwater project is Forty-one Thousand Nine Hundred
Eighty-six Dollars ($41,986.00),
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Nine Thousand Dollars
($9,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the
District to reimburse the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri for funds
expended by said City for the Williamsburg Drive #13 stormwater
project.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 11, 1987.
