AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety-five Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars ($95,700.00) from the Mississippi River Operating
Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Brotherton & Grove (S-1987, C-1271), in the City of
Ferguson, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Eighty-nine Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-six and 88/100
Dollars ($89,536.88), and the cost of inspection, construction
staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for
construction change orders is Six Thousand One Hundred Sixty-three
and 12/100 Dollars ($6,163.12), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Thirty-one Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($31,900.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Mississippi River
Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City of Ferguson, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute Thirty-one Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($31,900.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Mississippi River Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety-five Thousand Seven
Hundred Dollars ($95,700.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Brotherton & Grove (S-1987, C-
1271), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 11, 1987.
