AN ORDINANCE, transferring Thirty-nine Thousand One
Hundred Eighty-nine Dollars ($39,189.00) from the Coldwater Creek
Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek, and
appropriating Two Hundred Sixty-two Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-
nine Dollars ($262,839.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm and sanitary sewers in
Chaucer & Charjean Stormwater Improvements Phase I (S-1985, C-
1274), in the City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm and
sanitary sewers is Two Hundred Forty-three Thousand Nine Hundred
Ninety-nine and 00/100 Dollars ($243,999.00), and the cost of
inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement
charges and allowance for construction change orders is Eighteen
Thousand Eight Hundred Forty and 00/100 Dollars ($18,840.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Seventy-four Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($74,550.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri has
agreed to contribute Seventy-four Thousand Five Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($74,550.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon
the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-nine Thousand One
Hundred Eighty-nine Dollars ($39,189.00) is hereby transferred
from the Coldwater Creek Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund to
the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek.
Section Two. The sum of Two Hundred Sixty-two
Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-nine Dollars ($262,839.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs
for the construction of storm and sanitary sewers in Chaucer &
Charjean Stormwater Improvements Phase I (S-1985, C-1274), in the
City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri.
Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 11, 1987.
