HomeMy Public PortalAbout06940 O R D I N A N C E NO. 6940 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Forty-one Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($141,750.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in North Harrison #1035 (S-1835, C-1275), in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is One Hundred Thirty-two Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety- seven and 52/100 Dollars ($132,997.52), and the cost of inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for construction change orders is Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-two and 48/100 Dollars ($8,752.48), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Forty-seven Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($47,250.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Kirkwood, Missouri, has agreed to contribute Forty-seven Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($47,250.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Forty-one Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($141,750.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in North Harrison #1035 (S-1835, C-1275), in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri. Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 11, 1987.
