AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixty-six Thousand Nine
Hundred Dollars ($66,900.00) from the Mississippi River Operating
Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in 9620 Perrin (86084), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Sixty-one Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars
($61,850.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for
construction change orders is Five Thousand Fifty Dollars
($5,050.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Twenty-two Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($22,300.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Mississippi River
Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to the
Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute Twenty-two Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($22,300.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Mississippi River Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixty-six Thousand Nine
Hundred Dollars ($66,900.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in 9620 Perrin (86084), in St.
Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 11, 1987.
