AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty-seven Thousand Nine
Hundred One Dollars ($57,901.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of a gabion channel at
Beaucaire Dr. No. 576, 1638 & 1646 (86200), in the City of Warson
Woods, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said gabion
channel is Forty-nine Thousand One Hundred Eighty-six Dollars
($49,186.00), and the costs of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and
allowance for construction change orders is Eight Thousand Seven
Hundred Fifteen Dollars ($8,715.00), and
WHEREAS, the property owners to be served by said
project have agreed to contribute Six Thousand Four Hundred One
Dollars ($6,401.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon
the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be
returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty-seven Thousand Nine
Hundred One Dollars ($57,901.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of a
gabion channel at Beaucaire Dr. No. 576, 1638 & 1646 (86200), in
the City of Warson Woods, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 11, 1987.
