AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty-one Thousand Dollars
($81,000.00) from the Improvement Fund as an advancement for
project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in
Subdistrict No. 462 (Oakville Terrace) C-1273, in St. Louis
County, Missouri, and providing for repayment of such advancement,
WHEREAS, proceedings have been taken for the
construction of sanitary sewers in Subdistrict No. 462 (Oakville
Terrace) C-1273, to be paid for by special tax bills or other
evidence of special benefit assessments upon the land benefitted
by such improvement, and
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is Sixty-seven Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-eight and
80/100 Dollars ($67,578.80), and the cost of engineering,
inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement
charges, allowance for construction change orders and tax bill
expense is Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-one and 20/100
Dollars ($13,421.20), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty-one Thousand Dollars
($81,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund as
an advancement for project costs for the construction of sanitary
sewers in Subdistrict No. 462 (Oakville Terrace) C-1273, in St.
Louis County, Missouri, pending payment into the Improvement Fund
of the costs hereby advanced from cash payments in aid from any
source and from the proceeds of collection of special benefit
assessments levied, or special tax bills issued, to pay such
costs.
Section Two. The anticipated payments, together with
any interest earned, shall be paid into the Improvement Fund named
in Section Two above.
Section Three. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 11, 1987.
