AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Twenty-six
Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-three and 56/100 Dollars ($126,553.56)
from the General Fund of the District to reimburse the City of
Fenton, Missouri for funds expended by said City for the Old
Gravois/Old Town Storm Sewer stormwater project.
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent money
received by the District pursuant to the State of Missouri
Stormwater Program, and
WHEREAS, after reimbursement, the City of Fenton,
Missouri's share of the project cost will be Two Hundred Fifty-
three Thousand One Hundred Seven and 14/100 Dollars ($253,107.14),
and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri provided One Hundred
Twenty-six Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-three and 56/100 Dollars
($126,553.56) toward the project cost, and
WHEREAS, since the project is located in the annexed
area of the District, the District will not provide any funds
toward the cost of said stormwater project, and
WHEREAS, the total project cost for the Old Gravois/Old
Town Storm Sewer stormwater project is Three Hundred Seventy-nine
Thousand Six Hundred Sixty and 70/100 Dollars ($379,660.70).
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty-six
Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-three and 56/100 Dollars ($126,553.56)
is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District to
reimburse the City of Fenton, Missouri for funds expended by said
City for the Old Gravois/Old Town Storm Sewer stormwater project.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 11, 1987.
