AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Million One Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($3,100,000.00) from the Mississippi River
Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the construction
of the Spanish Lake Wastewater Treatment Plant Interceptor Phase
II (85086), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Spanish
Lake Wastewater Treatment Plant Interceptor is Five Million Two
Hundred Eighty-seven Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-three and 70/100
Dollars ($5,287,763.70), and the cost of inspection, construction
staking, and allowance for construction change orders is Seven
Hundred Sixty-nine Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-six and 30/100
Dollars ($769,236.30), and
WHEREAS, the total project cost for the Spanish Lake
Wastewater Treatment Plant Interceptor is Six Million One Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($6,100,000.00),
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 6779, adopted October 8, 1986,
provided the funding for Phase I of said project, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST.LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Million One Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($3,100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of Spanish Lake Wastewater Treatment Plant
Interceptor Phase II (85086), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 11, 1987.
