AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-one Thousand Dollars
($21,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for project costs for
the construction of sanitary sewers in Subdistrict No. 496
(Prince-Princess) 86208, in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is Seventeen Thousand Six Hundred Forty-six Dollars
($17,646.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for
construction change orders is Three Thousand Three Hundred Fifty-
four Dollars ($3,354.00), and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to the
Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute Twenty-one Thousand Dollars ($21,000.00), the total
cost of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-one Thousand Dollars
($21,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to
be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers
in Subdistrict No. 496 (Prince-Princess) 86208, in St. Louis
County, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 25, 1987.
