AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-three Thousand
Dollars ($33,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Fox Tree -
Foxmont Drive (85224), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Twenty-six Thousand Nine Hundred Two and 34/100 Dollars
($26,902.34), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for
construction change orders is Six Thousand Ninety-seven and 66/100
Dollars ($6,097.66), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Eleven Thousand Dollars ($11,000.00) toward the total costs of
said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source,
said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the City of Hazelwood, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Eleven Thousand Dollars ($11,000.00) toward the total
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-three Thousand Dollars
($33,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek
to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers
in Fox Tree -Foxmont Drive (85224), in the City of Hazelwood,
Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 25, 1987.
