AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Four Hundred
Ninety-eight Thousand Dollars ($2,498,000.00) from the Mississippi
River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of the Bissell Point Final Clarifier Slurry Wall (BP-
5A), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said project
is Two Million Three Hundred Seventy-eight Thousand Eight Hundred
Twenty-seven Dollars ($2,378,827.00), and the cost of the
construction application and allowance for construction change
orders is One Hundred Nineteen Thousand One Hundred Seventy-three
Dollars ($119,173.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the fund from which this
appropriation is made sufficient to pay the obligation incurred
herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST.LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Four Hundred
Ninety-eight Thousand Dollars ($2,498,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used
for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Final
Clarifier Slurry Wall (BP-5A), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 25, 1987.
