AN ORDINANCE, awarding a contract to Allendale Mutual
Insurance Company, for the District's property insurance coverage
from March 1, 1987 to July 1, 1987, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Allendale Mutual Insurance Company,
who submitted a quote for the District's property insurance, at a
premium of Fifty-two Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-three Dollars
($52,263.00) for such policy period, is hereby awarded the
contract for such property insurance coverage from March 1, 1987
to July 1, 1987.
Section Two. The insurance coverage as specified
herein is necessary for the protection of the public welfare, and
the contract for such coverage must be awarded without delay, thus
creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan.
Accordingly, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 25, 1987.
