HomeMy Public PortalAbout06984 O R D I N A N C E NO. 6984 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Fifty-two Thousand Dollars ($252,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Terrace Gardens/Carole Ln. Stormwater Project (86098), in the City of Frontenac, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers is Two Hundred Thirty-five Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-five Dollars ($235,235.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for construction change orders is Sixteen Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-five Dollars ($16,765.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Eighty-four Thousand Dollars ($84,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Frontenac, Missouri, has agreed to contribute Eighty-four Thousand Dollars ($84,000.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, 2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifty-two Thousand Dollars ($252,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Terrace Gardens/ Carole Ln. Stormwater Project (86098), in the City of Frontenac, Missouri. Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987.
