AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seven Thousand Nine Hundred
Fifty Thousand Dollars ($7,950.00) from the General Fund of the
District to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in Promenade (87082), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Six Thousand Five Hundred Sixty Dollars ($6,560.00), and the
cost of engineering inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs and allowance for construction change orders
is One Thousand Three Hundred Ninety Dollars ($1,390.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Two Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Dollars ($2,650.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the General Fund of
the District, and
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Five Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($5,300.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the General Fund
of the District, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seven Thousand Nine Hundred
Fifty Dollars ($7,950.00) is hereby appropriated form the General
Fund of the District to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Promenade (87082), in St. Louis
County, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987.
