AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-five Thousand
Dollars ($35,000.00) from the General Fund of the District to pay
Management Resource Controls for professional consulting services
rendered in the recovery of overpaid social security taxes,
pursuant to a contract authorized and entered into by Ordinance
No. 5154, adopted July 13, 1983.
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent a sum
equal to fifty percent (50%) of the District's share of money
received from the Social Security Administration for recovery of
overpaid social security taxes paid during 1979, 1980 and 1981.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-five Thousand Dollars
($35,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the
District to be used to pay Management Resource Controls for
professional consulting services rendered in the recovery of
overpaid social security taxes, pursuant to a contract authorized
and entered into by Ordinance No. 5154, adopted July 13, 1983.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987.
