AN ORDINANCE, awarding a contract to Commercial Union
Insurance Company (Alexander & Alexander, Inc., agent) for the
District's Primary Premise Liability Insurance coverage from March
18, 1987 to July 1, 1987, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Commercial Union Insurance Company,
who submitted a quote for the District's Primary Premise Liability
Insurance coverage at a premium of Sixteen Thousand Fifty-six
Dollars ($16,056.00) for such policy period, is hereby awarded the
contract for such Primary Premise Liability Insurance coverage
from March 18, 1987 to July 1, 1987.
Section Two. The insurance coverage as specified
herein is necessary for the protection of the public welfare, and
the contract for such coverage must be awarded without delay, thus
creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan.
Accordingly, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987.
