AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Ten Thousand
Seven Hundred Dollars ($110,700.00) from the Mississippi River
Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Bircher/Beachwood Avenue Storm Sewer Project
(85100), in the City of Pine Lawn, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is One Hundred Two Thousand Six Hundred Twenty Dollars
($102,620.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges and allowance for
construction change orders is Eight Thousand Eighty Dollars
($8,080.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Thirty-six Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($36,900.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Mississippi River
Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City of Pine Lawn, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute Thirty-six Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($36,900.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Mississippi River Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ten Thousand
Seven Hundred Dollars ($110,700.00) is hereby appropriated from
the Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project costs
for the construction of storm sewers in Bircher/Beachwood Avenue
Storm Sewer Project (85100), in the City of Pine Lawn, Missouri.
Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation
Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987.
