HomeMy Public PortalAbout06998 O R D I N A N C E NO. 6998 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Twenty-six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($226,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Frost Avenue Storm Sewer Phase I (85249), in the City of Berkeley, Missouri. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers is Two Hundred Fourteen Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-four Dollars ($214,854.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for construction change orders is Eleven Thousand Six Hundred Forty-six Dollars ($11,646.00), and WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Seventy-five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($75,500.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of Berkeley, Missouri, has agreed to contribute Seventy-five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($75,500.00) toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Twenty-six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($226,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Frost Avenue Storm Sewer Phase I (85249), in the City of Berkeley, Missouri. Section Two. This Ordinance, being an appropriation Ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987.
