AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Sixty-three
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($163,500.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek
to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers
in January-Thurston Phase III (S-2432, C-1286), in the City of
Ferguson, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is One Hundred Fifty-two Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-nine Dollars
($152,849.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for
construction change orders is Ten Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-one
Dollars ($10,651.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Fifty-four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($54,500.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek,
and
WHEREAS, the City of Ferguson, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Fifty-four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($54,500.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Sixty-three
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($163,500.00) is hereby appropriated
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in January-Thurston Phase III (S-
2432, C-1286), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
