AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Twenty-one
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($121,500.00) from the Mississippi
River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Airport/Newell Storm Sewer Project
(S-1988, C-1277), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is One Hundred Twelve Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-seven and
05/100 Dollars ($112,437.05), and the cost of inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for
construction change orders is Nine Thousand Sixty-two and 95/100
Dollars ($9,062.95), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Forty Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($40,500.00) toward the total
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Mississippi River
Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City of Ferguson, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Forty Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($40,500.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Mississippi
River Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty-one
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($121,500.00) is hereby appropriated
from the Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project
costs for the construction of storm sewers in Airport/Newell Storm
Sewer Project (S-1988, C-1277), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
