AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Eighty-one
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($181,500.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University
City Branch of River des Peres to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Leroy Ave. Storm Sewer Project
(86120), in the City of Pagedale, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is One Hundred Sixty-nine Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-one Dollars
($169,961.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for
construction change orders is Eleven Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-
nine Dollars ($11,539.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Sixty Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($60,500.00) toward the total
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres, and
WHEREAS, the City of Pagedale, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Sixty Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($60,500.00) toward
the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds
from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University
City Branch of River des Peres, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Eighty-one
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($181,500.00) is hereby appropriated
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of the University City Branch of River des Peres to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Leroy Ave.
Storm Sewer Project (86120), in the City of Pagedale, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987.
