AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-one Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($31,500.00) from the Mississippi River Operating
Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Ramona 8832 (85085), in the Village of Bel-Ridge,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Twenty-nine Thousand Seventy-six Dollars ($29,076.00), and the
cost of inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs,
easement charges, and allowance for construction change orders is
Two Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-four Dollars ($2,424.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Ten Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($10,500.00) toward the total
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Mississippi River
Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Bel-Ridge, Missouri, pursuant
to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed
to contribute Ten Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($10,500.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Mississippi River Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-one Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($31,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Mississippi River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Ramona 8832 (85085), in the
Village of Bel-Ridge, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
