AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-two Thousand Fifty
Dollars ($22,050.00) from the Mississippi River Operating Fund to
be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Main Street 2582 (S-2415, C-1281), in the City of Jennings,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Nineteen Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-nine Dollars
($19,989.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for
construction change orders is Two Thousand Sixty-one Dollars
($2,061.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Seven Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($7,350.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Mississippi River
Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City of Jennings, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Seven Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($7,350.00)
toward the total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such
funds from said source, said money will be returned to the
Mississippi River Operating Fund, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-two Thousand Fifty
Dollars ($22,050.00) is hereby appropriated from the Mississippi
River Operating Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Main Street 2582 (S-2415, C-1281),
in the City of Jennings, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987.
