AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-three Thousand
Dollars ($33,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in North Price Road - Alice Place Phase I (86095),
in the City of Olivette, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of storm sewers
is Twenty-nine Thousand Three Hundred Ninety-seven Dollars
($29,397.00), and the cost of inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, easement charges, and allowance for
construction change orders is Three Thousand Six Hundred Three
Dollars ($3,603.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Eleven Thousand Dollars ($11,000.00) toward the total costs of
said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source,
said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres, and
WHEREAS, the City of Olivette, Missouri, has agreed to
contribute Eleven Thousand Dollars ($11,000.00) toward the total
costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said
source, said money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of
River des Peres, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation incurred herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-three Thousand Dollars
($33,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University
City Branch of River des Peres to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in North Price Road - Alice Place
Phase I (86095), in the City of Olivette, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 11, 1987.
